Not at all. I'm merely proving that Darwin was right. The problem will one day take care of itself.

Well, if your gonna run low boost < 8psi esp., or even high boost, you dont neccesarily have to use Nissan parts, you can buy aftermarket products for some things. Just because theres not an exact bolt on kit, dosen't mean theres nothing. It usaully a good idea not to use anything older, or more used than the engine that is already in your car. Thats just an idea though.

more like lack of sleep, and I'm tired of trying to teach people here common sense. (My Spock-logic says that if it involves removing the engine and costs more than $3000, it's probably NOT a DIY job.)

Know your limits and know what you're talking aboot! Some jobs are easy, some are obviously hard, and some sound easy in principle but ARE hard! (ie, the phrase, "Just drop in a turbo engine!")

why dont u just use z31 manifolds and turbo from the junk yard.. bolt everything up, run a few lines here and there.. and run like 4 lbs of boost, say you have a turbo and be have it... or just buy a honda and a drag turbo kit

That is because the Z31 uses the old 8-bit prom and the ECU connector/output pins are totally different. Now a Z31 ECU/injectors will work in a 2nd gen maxima but not 3rd gen. A Z32 ECU would work in a 3rd gen VE however (I doubt it would work in the VG considering it uses a distributor). The only thing that is the same from the VG30ET vs VG30E is the block (unless its a Z31 4/87 build). The pistons, rods, crank are slightly different as are the heads and IM.

you'd be best off just buying Z31T manifolds and turbo, bolting it on, then having a shop build the intake and exhaust tubing for you, then let JWT worry about the ECU. get some bigger injectors and tell them what kind you've got. they'll make the ECU work with the injectors you've got.
that's pretty much it. the rest is tuning.
tuning? you mean with one of these?
