After putting my Place Racing CAI in, I notice an awful whistling sound.. Can you help?? No y-pipe..... just incase... 4th gen 1999

 

from what i've heard, alot of people have experienced this... including me... although i've got a HAI(hybrid). i'm 99% everything is sealed up well... i think its just the filter... but i'm going to double check sometime soon. but, all i can suggest is to double check your fittings. i'm guessing it is only doing it under low rpm and light/med throttle... if so, you could have a leak... or you could be like alot of other people that just have a whistling noise.
