break in period for a new clutch?
as some may have already read, i had my clutch put in today. from everything i've ever heard, a clutch needs some time to break in/seat. anywhere from 200-500 miles, but the tech that worked on my car told me that time isn't needed. is this true, or is he retarded like i think he is?? oh, something else... the clutch pedal is very soft compared to before. both are stock clutches... but my new one is a different design... 4(new) springs in the disc instead of 6(old). is this normal... or is there something wrong or in need of adjustment?

yeah, i understand the good in breaking in brake pads... but what is done while "breaking in" a clutch? i've heard that it needs to be done, but i don't know why. and i'll be making a 350+ mile trip tommorrow... so by this friday (going to Rockingham) i should be fine. and thanks for reassuring what i had already thought.
