Congratulations... You just got stuck with a beginner installer...
I hope your airbag doesn't go off in your face....
Take it back to Circuit City and DEMAND that they do it PROPERLY... Tell the installer to use the Software (TECHSOFT) DEI gives them (authorized dealers)... It has the locations of all the wires.
Sometimes you get lucky when you go to these stores, sometimes not.

The dome light is controlled automatically with the driver's door lock switch even if you have an alarm or not. This is a benefit for us, because Nissan already included this in our cars. Whenever you add an alarm to our Max's, all that is needed is a "double pulse" generator tapped into the driver's side lock switch (green wire with yellow tracer) which will unlock all four doors at the same time (with a small delay). With this process, the dome light should come on. It's almost set up in the way, where, if you put the key in the outside door lock and turn it once, only the driver's door will unlock. Turn it again, within seconds, the rest of the door's will unlock.
