Anyone do this? Anything I should be careful of?

If you wanna do it right you need to get some laquor from a body shop. I used this stuff and it came right off. It will remove all your wax but it takes off the pin stripe no problem. Its a pain in the *** as it is but if you use a heat gun and the laqor it makes it much easier.

Funny, we never use laquor thinners to take pin strips off.

The tool we use is called an eraser. It removes pin strips and graphics from cars.

Hand held high speed eraser looks just like the electric one your teacher had only bigger and it's pneumatic, not electric.

I just peeled mine off. It came off with no problem, so I guess that was the right way.

Does it leave any marks..... ie "shadows" of the old pinstriping?

I would assume it would be more noticeable on darker colors...
