I went and bought 2 1156 bulbs yesterday. I read on the board that you can cut one of the ***** off and replace the corner light bulb and it will be brighter. The bulbs I bought have 2 ***** on them, one on each side. I have cut and filed down one of them. Now I just replace the current bulb? I guess it goes in and turns to secure. Does the current bulb have 1 or 2 *****? Will this burn hot or do any damage? Thanks in advance.

It shouldn't hurt or burn anything.......I've had mine for about a month and no probz yet...as for the question,,,,,,,yeah just replace the old 1's w/ the new 1's pretty eezy after you file the **** down
