Past week been getting an odd noise, sorta like when ya blow on top of an empty bottle hollowing sound from my car. So took it to the mechanic and wheel bearings is going. So I would just like to know what this may run to get fixed.. so he dosnt rip me off. thanks
i have no clue how much it costs but the part itself is is about 40$

from the looks of it, it doesn't look easy but it doesn't look hard either. i was charged, i think, about 60-80$ labor to get my cv axle replaced.

http://www.motorvate.ca/mvp.php/704 there are 5 pages for it.
I replaced my own with the help of the Motorvate instructions...
it helps to have a press and a few bearing tools like I did instead of the kit in Motorvate.
I realized after that the bearings were replaced that it was not a problem... go figure...
