Dilemma: Suspension>Rims>Bodykit?

Hey guys, I can't decide which I should be getting next. I am leaning towards stillen bodykit. I want looks but the car right now is driving like a boat. I would like to have better cornering, handling etc.. The car doesn't look too high on stock springs and wheels thats why i'm considering the bodykit before the shock and springs. Decisions. I don't have enuf cash for both so its either one or the other and maybe next spring/summer i'll have enuf for all three sus, rims, bodykit. Also what do you guys think about the combo gr2's with H@R's. Maybe if i do go with springs/shocks, i'll have enuf to get rsb, ftsb and finish the susp. Thanks for your input in advance.

depends on what rims you have on there now, if they are the ugly ones mine has, then get the rims first, so u dont look like a dumbass with a bodykit and nasty *** stock rims, lol

Buy them in the order you asked...

Get suspension, then rims, then a body kit.

^ This man speaks the truth. Any other order and the car would look strange.

1)suspension
2)rims
3)body kit

You should do suspension 1st, b/c stock suspsension sucks !!! Once you get new suspension you feel like you're ridding in a new car. Plus stock springs still sit very high up, so getting suspension done first also improves the look of you car even without rims and a body kit. If you got rims first it you'll still have a big wheel gap and that'll look kind of strange. Same thing if you got your body kit first.

So do suspension 1st, rims second, then kit. You hit 2 birds with one stone with suspension. You get better handling and better looks. Just my opinion

Thanks guys for your opinions. I am going with suspension. I do have the stock 16's on right now but they look ok to me that is why i thought why not just get a bodykit. But that definitely might look kinda odd without being lowered. Also there are some great group deals on gr2's so I might pick those up. Does this combo work well, gr2's and h@r's? I want a comfortable ride and a decent drop. Not slammed like sprints. It is either eibach or h+r's.

It seems like people with stock 16's and with h@r's dont have too much of a drop at all. Will that change when you get bigger rims or does the wheel gap stay the same? I want a good drop but not to the extent of sprints.

If plus sizing is done correctly the wheel tire combo will stay roughly the same diameter as stock. Because the larger the wheel the shorter the tire. The gap should not change much at all, but can increase or decrease with size tire you choose.

The gap will actually look bigger if you keep the tire size correct and go with larger rims. IMO, go with a slightly lower spring, such as Progress. With H&Rs the gap is still pretty big, when a car is riding really high from the factory, you need a somewhat low spring just to make the car look decent.

If you want a nice lowered look, you will definately have to go with something lower than an H&R, you can try progress like mentioned, or the new TEIN springs (dont know if their out yet?!?). Im running on B+G Sport springs which suit my needs perfectly. They definately drop more than H&R, but keep a pretty damn cushy ride with my stock struts...

Heres a pic of B+G springs on my car with stock rims...

suspension 1st!!!!
the rimz
the the bodykit.

why go fast if you can't control it well. suspension is the best upgrade. rimz make you go slow(usually unless they say type r on them somewhere those add 10hp!), bodykit is extra drag and you have to have it painted too add 400 onto the proce of the kit you want to buy...+ install...suspension man.

I do want a slightly more drop than the eibach/h+r's. The roads here in IA aren't too bad so I am now thinking of going with B+G with Gr2's. How is that combo? I know b+g are soft rate springs but is the drop too much for gr2's to handle? I have right now a 4 in half finger gap/ stock and with h+r's i've heard there is about a 3 in a half finger gap left. Not too much of a difference for me.

whatever u do, i think u should leave the suspention part for last. because then you know exactly how much of a drop you want, how much clearance you want and you can do measurements too.
