Dang, I just spent $7,000 for mine with 129k miles on it It was in ridiculously good condition though. I have had numerous people (who don't keep up with what the latest model years are) ask me if I just bought it new.

Anyway, it's 100% stock right now and I'm looking at upgrading to an Alpine CDE-9852 so I can finally hook up my iPod directly. I also see some upgraded speakers and tinted windows in my future but that's about it.

I spent about $1100 into fixing up my car since purchase. Mostly just maintenance items. But the car drives like a million bucks now.

I've put about $600 into mine, but I've only had it for a month. I've got many thousands of dollars in mods in mind to do. Btw, nice 4 year old necro.

Its hard for me to really quantify...

I have had 2 4th gens. My first was in a car wreck that was the other person's fault so i got paid a lot more than tha car was worth . I took that money and bought my 2nd 4th gen and used the rest for repairs on that car...

Awww f it...if i add alll the money i have spent on all 3 maxis i have owned for mods and maintenance...at least over $3k. Prolly close to $4k

i bought my 95 GLE for 1800 with 122K on it and have spent less then 100 so far on new OEM back brakes and rotors and new spark plugs. My sound system was free, and the Iowa winters tell me that my undercarriage is rusted to hell...the other night i was pulling into my driveway and my jack fell from the bottom of the car im sad but i still gotta put a muffler on her and the engine purrs so thats a plus.

Probably around 3k in mods, a bunch more in maintenance, and about $3500 for the car.. I see no end in sight.

I spent more on replacing parts on my car than what I paid for it when I bought (not including the few mods I put into it)...

i think ive spent around 4000
wheels
tires
subs
amp
lowering springs
struts/shocks
strut mounts
spark plugs
radio
tint
speakers
egr valve
soon to be a temp sensor (this weekends project)
window regulator
ignition coils
window washer motor

the best part is i would do it all again for my maxima. worth every cent.

I"m into it for around $5000, with the cost of the car. However everything on my car is custom, including the chassis. Heck the engine is in the wrong place, mid mounted. Fun stuff, but it still doesn't run.

I bought my 95 gle back in October and so far I've replaced all the stock speakers with infinity kappa 652.9i's and installed a reference 475a amp to push them. like 2/4 of the stock speakers were blown. the only other thing I've put in was a remote starter for cold Saskatchewan winters . so all in all ive spent about $900. next up I'll be buying a woofer and amp aswell which will set me back about another 900
