They look real nice, how much did they run you as far as $$$. Also i have heard that the higher kits such as like 8500k kits and all have problems with visibilty in the snow, is that true and if so how bad is it, barable? Thanks! And by the way the car looks great keep up the great work man.

I have the same kit as Maximus, but in 6000k instead of 8000k. These work GREAT in the snow, i havent seen 8000k in person, but as far as 6000k goes, no problems here!

High kelvin temp HIDs aren't that great in the rain, but they're awesome in the snow. I would say go with anything but McCulloch, they're known to have tons of problems with their ballasts.. I have a set and one of my ballasts died after 2 months. If you want visibility, stay below 6000k, if you're going for looks otoh, 8000k+ is nice but could definatly get you pulled over.

If you want some informal numbers I'll give them to you.. A guy on hidforum.com (or some variation of that, I forget exactly) said that out of the 30 McCulloch ballasts he had, 27 went dead after 4 months. (I'm assuming he was a vendor of sorts) A warranty is fine, I had mine replaced under warranty, but it's just a pain, and the fact that I might go out to my car one night and have them stop working bothers me. Which is exactly what happened. There's nothing I can do now, but I just don't reccomend them.
