Fog Lights are out, need help..

Recently I bought some aftermarket bulbs for my stock fog lamps. I replaced the stock bulbs with some 65/55w "superwhite" bulbs. After I put the bulbs in, the lights didn't turn on at all. I figured that I had some crappy bulbs, so I then put the stock bulbs back in. Again, no light. I then checked my fuse for the fog lamps (if you are facing the engine, I replaced the fuse that's in the fuse box on the right). Sure enough the fuse was open. I replaced the open fuse with a new one, and still no light.

Any help would be appreciated. If you need me to further explain, go ahead and ask..

Did you hook up the wires correctly? H3 is a single filament bulb. It should only be 55w or 85w(high).
Replace the relay if needed.

Well I went back to the fuse box, and Sam you were right. The fuse is out again. I tried one more fuse, and again it went out. Any suggestions?

Oh, Kevlo... what relay are you speaking of?..

i had the same problem and went through about 6 fuses....

i took the fogs off, took out the bulbs, put them back in, put a bigger fuse in & it never happened again....

put a bigger fuse first...if it burns, check your connections...wire might be touching something else and it's blowing the fuses...

A multi-meter also helps. It's a great tool for checking correct voltage and any short circuits you may have.
