Pinstripes or No pinsripes

What do you guys think about pinstripes. I currently have pinstripes on my Max, but my friend thinks my Max would look better without pinstripes. What do you think?

I personally don't much care for them...I had them removed on all other cars I had...I like the clean look like the Japanese cars, I haven't seen pinstripes on them, but I could be wrong. Although my maxima has pinstripes now, I am planning on removing them

Good Luck getting them off. I did this one satuday and found out that the person how had the car before me had them painted on. I still have one side with pinstip and one side without, I think about this time next year I will have the oher side off!

a very good point...I THINK the body shop that worked on my car the last time painted my on as well..so no removal for me either

BTW, the look better off then on. we're maximas not buicks...LOL

Same here, I'm having the car sanded and painted.

No pin stripes for me. It looks dated.

I pulled mine off in the parking lot of the dealership.

I had ordered one without stripes so after I pulled off the dealer sticker (which I told them not to put on). i got the stripes off pretty easily. I guess they hadn't had the chance to really bake on yet.

Mine came w/ them on, but I like the look of them off. So one hot day, I just peeled them off.

i took mine off right when i got my car. try taking it off on a cold day with a blowdryer. took me about 2.5 hours.

Just did mine today

The stripe i had on my car was starting to peel off, it's 6 years old. So today i bought a new one and peeled the old one off. It only took me an hour to peel the old one off, using a hairdryer and put the new one on, and it was not too warm out. i guess i had good luck

NO PINSTRIPES. I got my car serviced at Nissan today> My car was parked next to another starfire blue max that had pinstripes. Mine looked much better in my opinion.

I have a silver one on mine.
I kinda like it.
BUT i have thought about taking off.....
Im not sure how long they've been on so i dont know if the paint underneath will match the rest.

I had a silver one, and it made a HUGE difference when I took it off. Much sportier. Remove it, and you will be pleased.

I been hearing the same thing for the last 2 years that my car would look much better

with the pinstripes off. So 2 weeks ago I decided to take it off and honestly I miss my pinstripes. The car looks plain to me like something is missing. Hopefully when I put back on my rims it would look better.

I did mine a while ago. At first there is remnance of the glue that held it on. Plus because my car is 5 years old it made it harder. But now you can barley tell.
