So after several months of contemplating installing the pulley, I finally decided to go for it. Ordered it locally for $190 (found out later $tillen had it for $175!). Had it installed by a local shop who employs an ex-Nissan technician for $70. When I talked with him after the install he said he wasn't comfortable with the quality of this particular pulley. He started the car and looking down at the top of the pulley you could see a slight but noticable "wobble" around the outside edge as the engine was idling.
Has anyone else taken a close look at this and noticed anything similar? It could just be a bad pulley and be slightly off center.
Any feedback would be appreciated.

That's odd

My belts don't wobble at all. I inspected my stock pulley and the UR pulley and they both have a consistent construction. If the installation was done properly, the possible only problems are the actual pulley, belts, belt tension, or crank pulley oil seal. I guess it's tough to diagnose the problem.

My UR UDP is straight and true. I would not feel comfortable about it either. Have your mechanic measure the runout so that when you call to return it, you have quantified the problem.

make sure the belt tension is correctly set to factory specs. and that the belt tension pulley (i.e. the rollder that presses down onto the belt to keep it tensioned.. is correctyle aligned up....
