Cleaned engine....getting codes, why?

I recently cleaned my engine with some cleaner and washed it off lightly with my power washer. I followed all the directions like stated but now im getting codes 0303 and 0503, which are both bank o2 sensors. I dont see how I could be getting these codes besides water getting in the connector, and I checked and its dry...I even used wire dryer and still getting the codes. If I clear the codes, they come back within 5 minutes of driving. Any ideas?

The car's computer will have to perform a drive cycle before it would throw the codes again. Just reset the computer, and take a nice drive for about an hour on an expressway. I believe that the front O2's only affect drivability below 3000rpm, so when you're driving stay in 5th gear or overdrive. Check the group deal forum, I think there is still a G/D going on for O2's http://forums.maxima.org/showthread.php?t=289189 or you can order direct from www.oxygensensors.com if you don't want to wait. Sorry, I don't have an answer for you as to why the codes suddenly appeared like that.

Check the wires for the sensors, if they appear to be ok...time for new O2 sensors.
