I wil be replaceing mine ,maybe today. It's easier to just replace the whole half shaft. It's also cheaper then just buying the cv joint by itself. The half shaft is about $70 with core exchange. It comes with both inner and outer cv joints. You need to remove two bolts connecting the strut and the spindle and remove the tie rod and sway bar end link. You should be able to pull out the half shaft out. It's not that hard of a job.

Do these yourself, you might have to end up paying to replace these at $110 each like my dumb@ss did.

are there any performance type drive axles for us. im not looking for something to increase power but i want something that is strong and built to last. i purchased a set of axles 3 years ago and they are already clicking and the boots are perfect. worst part is the warranty was only for a year so i need a new set. any good performance axles and how muc are they, i believe raxles.com has some. does anybody have them or know abouth them...?

A good breaker bar to go with that 36mm socket as well.

Don't get the fork/wedge shaped separator unless you want to tear the boot. I use a 2-jaw puller, while others don't even disconnect the tie-rods.

Try getting a hold of Ceasar. I think that he has some performance axles.
