Aftermarket warranty experience? Any luck?

I bought my 97 I30 in April for $6800 and paid $1000 for a 3-year, unlimited mile, $100 deductible warranty that covers engine, tranny, steering, eletrical components, etc... basically everything except wear and tear items.

Luckily, I haven't have to use the warranty, but was wondering if you all have any experience with these types of warranties, thanks.

2 experiences with the same warranty (service contract). 1st experience: Rear main seal was leaking.
2nd experience: There was a dent on my AC condensor and it caused elevated pressure. Due to the increased line pressure it messed up my compressor. They replaced the condensor, compressor and receiver/drier. Paid the $50 deductible both times and they reimbursed me $25 per day for my rental car . Very nice experiences w/smooth transactions. However your service contract company can give you a reaming. Make sure you read the fine print on whether they used new/used parts, whether they repair or replace, if you have to pay for inspection/diagnosis first to have things work on (if so do you get reimbursed if there IS a problem) etc etc.
