HELP MAX won't start plz

hello well my max didnt start today. I just drove back home from school and was gonna go to my gf house. But my car didnt even start. So i jumped it and it turned on right away. Then as i go into the car and was about to leave i turned on the a/c and then the car died. Then i jumped it again this time it took about 10mins to be able to start the car. Two mins after the car died on its own. Then tonight i jumped it for 30mins. The engine didnt even turned....I am assuming its the alternater being bad because i went to sears to get a battery check which they said its still good cuz i only had less than a year. Can anyone help me to determine what is causing my car being so gay? Thank you in advance
