Any recommendation for a muffler/tip?

I've been hunting for a muffler & tip for a couple weeks. I found plenty of them for a 95 max, but most of them are all huge 4.5" tip outlet. I don't want anything that wide, but I still want it to look nice and give me better performance than my stock.

Anyone have any recommendations on a nice muffler/tip that isn't excessively wide? I want something more low profile for my car. To be honest, I think all those guys driving around in civics with 5" outlet tips sticking out from the back of their car just look pretty damn lame. It's like - ok buddy I can fit a grapefruit in there, good job.

Seriously though, I'd appreciate any advice/recommendations on this.

Thanks!

[edit: I do plan on installing a Y-Pipe... not sure if this changes things?]

no it just gives you about 12-15 horsepower...

but it will also make your exhaust a little louder... so for muffler, i would recommend dynomax super turbo and you can choose your own tip to put on it... its only like $50 too...

Sounds like everything aftermarket isn't your taste. Why not just hit a junkyard and yank one off a 5th gen? It's a good looking dual tip muffler, and you just might pick up an extra pony with the variable flow design thingy.

i have no clue how loud you want to be but I love my pilot motorsports 3.5" tip. it comes resonated, but its rusts so I took it all out, looks much better. $10 at Walmart

what do you have for exhaust mods now? any straight through will sound great with the stock exhaust, but once you get a Y pipe and/or no cat....hello rice. then you will want a chambered muffler.

I have stock everything right now. I'm going to have to replace the exhaust soon though, so I plan to install a Y-Pipe. 3.5" is probably as wide as I would want to go for a tip outlet width.

Looks nice JSutter, I'll probably go with that if I can.

Thanks
