Anyway, back on topic, congrats Deezo. Hope they come out with the 5-speed version by the time my b-day comes around.

Baggy is right about the JWT. I've heard some guys say that they didn't like it.
Thanks Nismo.

yeah, jeff does bulletproofing. dont you already have a vb from him? i thought that i remember you mentioning it a while ago.
he redoes all the gears and t/c. you may want to pm redmax and maybe latinmax, they both have or had nrh trannies.

Jet Performance ECU Upgrade
Hello,
Someone please tell me if this is wrong ? I'm pretty sure everyone has heard of Jet Performance. So I called them up like couple days ago. I talked to one of there people and apparantely they are saying for $299.00 thats with shipping you can get
Advanced timing
Better fuel map
Getting rid of the governer
and rasing up your rev limiter . . . didn't exactly said how much more . .
thats the information I got when I called turn around is about 2-3 days max. If anyone knows about this or dealt with them please help ! ! !

So I guess what they say is basically BS. Well I appreciate it to be honest with you, so would you know any other place to upgrade an ECU that can actually get it done on 1998 Maxima 5spd. I know this talk is going for Techno Square 95-96 Ecu's and etc.
Thanx .

No one modifies 97-99 ECU's. Your best bet is to get a 1996 ECU and send it to JWT if you want a plug and play solution. If you want to go all out and don't mind tuning, getting a Emanage Ultimate will beat any plug and play ECU on the market. The problem with a plug and play ECU is that it is a generic tune, and every car is different. One program cannot be everything to every car. With an EU, you can adjust anything you want, anytime you want, and customize it all to your car.

^^ Agreed, like, alot.
If you're on a budget though get an afc, fpr, and some dyno time, bump fuel pressure, pull maf voltage = timing advance.
God, this is disgusting, such a beautiful thread has been disgraced.

Damn, that's ****ed up. I think you might also need a new car. You should toss that thing back in the ocean, it's probably worse off than the last couple 5-speeds I bought for parts cars.

Apologize for being the PIA , but no I'd rather go all out and get EU OR EUB as long as it gets the job done, which I'm pretty sure it will. Just gotta get it dyno tuned i guess huh .
Thanks !
Thanks !
