Hey guys im new to the site and have a question on a 1998 maxima with auto locks, alarm and (its an) automatic. Which remote starter should i get? Which brands did you use and what do you like about them? Is there anything to know before beginning installation: wiring diagrams? Lastly, does this car have a chip in the key or was that not until the next gen of maxima? Thanks. I know this thread is probably beating a dead horse but i cant seem to find a search feature for the site. Any help is appreciated. Thanks. RIPhonda.

I use cheapest Bulldog. No problem for 7 years. Easy to install. They got diagrams on their website. No chip in 98 key.
