i had to take a file and a lawn chair and start sanding. then i got tired and got the drill out with a sand paper type wheel and just start grinding it down. takes about 20 mins the most on each side

i took off my nipples with a dremel and a tungsten bit. make sure to use a little water or it might get too hot.

I also used a dremel, but I used a diamond cutting wheel which cut through it like Butta...

Age old bump...Didnt wanna start another thread.

I tried to mount my eyelids with double sided tape (not 3m) but it seemed too bulky. It wasnt flush with the lights. Are there any alternative ways to mount em? Something that would withstand the heat from the HIDs.

Use 3M playa. That's what I used and it was perfect. It withstands heat nicely as well!

Use the heat from your HIDs to mount the eyelids though, it'll make them stick a lot better and they won't come off.

Yup that's the stuff. Just get it at your auto parts store they usually have it there.

They're pretty thin compared to other double sided tape I've seen. Plus once you let the heat set in and push down on the eyelids real good the tape will flaten out a little more. You'll see bro.

I made custom Eyelids. Used 3m Carbon Fiber Vinyl. They look pretty good and stretch over the nipple.
