Breaks go SQUEEEKK!!! verrryy annoying...help!
Whats up guys. I just had my brakes changed a couple weeks ago and i noticed that when its wet out, they squeek soo loud. This happens probably the first couple times i brake (when the car is cold). I took it back to my mechanic and he said he didnt hear anything and that he checked the breaks and nothing was wrong with them (cuz they're brand new). On a rainy day (like today), they squeek much more often. They didnt squeek at all when it was sunny and dry out...anyone have any ideas on what could be wrong? he did say that he would replace them if they still continue to squeek. Thanks for any help.
EDIT: Im so stupid. BRAKES not BREAKS!

yeah, Im not sure what pads i have either. Yeah..mdeezy i was thinking the same thing. Because whenever there's moisture i think they squeek. Whats the best solution? should i just have him replace them?

tell him to fix the brakes, brakes are not supposed to squeek any time. if the tech was a good one he would of resufaced the rotors, regrease the slid pins and re grease the anti rattle springs. and also regrease the piston to pad area and clean the side shims and grease them up to. only place you do not want to have grease is on pad to rotor area. everywhere else should have some kind of silicone or grease, and should of bled the brakes.

OMG I wish mine didn't squeak ... there isn't a time when mine don't. I broke a spring that holds the pad away from the rotor and now whenever I am at like 10 MPH and under I hear this horrible sound. It sounds like glass is about to shatter and it is beyond embarressing. Mechanic says everytime I change my oil/rotate ... he finds nothing wrong and doesn't hear them. Next time I go back I am going to have them take the top part of the caliper off and replace the springs I broke and hopefully this dreaded noice will go away.
