CD PALYER INSTALL HOW-TO .. where'd it go?

i swear i've seen it a million times, btu i cant find it in the stickies. can some one direct me to the link please? thanks guys

i know the screw is in the ashtray, then i have to just pry around the trim?
i need an antenna dapter, mounting kit, and wiring harness too, correct?

am i missing something?

come on, someone must know! all i really need is how to remove the trim and get to the stereo. where's the screw i heard about by the ashtray... i dont see one!

any help would be great, i've got to get this in in the morning. thanks

the screw for the ashtray is on the top left corner in the back

You have to pry the clock area of the trim off. Then there are screws behind that and behind the ashtray to remove the rest of it. Just be careful not to rip the vinyl or bend the plastic.

You may not need an antennae adapter depending on your head unit and yes you will also need a dash kit and wiring harness. Go to Walmart and see if they have those though. Walmart gear works just as well and will cost at least half as much as anywhere else.

you don't need a dash kit, Maximas have a double din and single din openings. An aftermarket stereo will bolt in to the stock brackets.
