Wells Coil Packs?
Has anyone been running Wells coil packs? AutoZone sells them for $64.99. Have used other Wells parts, just wondering how these might hold up in a Maxima...must be better than these OEM Hanshin I have that are failing one at a time....

OK, I also did some coil pack testing, Good Vs. Bad coil. I wrote down the values, and will report back to this thread ASAP. I did this because the FSM and Haynes test methods are different, and I have seen some post lately on this testing issue.
Edit: 79 Degrees F. in my garage. I tested all good coil packs, including brand new one. There are 3 pins on the connector.{ IB-G- + } All good coil packs had infinite resistance between + and G. The bad coil pack jumped around from 15 to 28 M Ohms.
(Red lead on + and black lead on G from multimeter)

Great info. What year is your Max? I take it you had the infamous missfire. I have the same problem that I haven't got around to fixing yet. My car missfires at stop lights and sometimes while driving. It runs perfect in park though. I've been doing a lot of reading. I will try your test to see if I have a coilpack bad.
