This puts no strain on ur stock harness so 0 melting,
this harness puts no strain on the diode as well becuase the diode only has to fight very weat power for the signal (this was main problem cuase diodes heat up fast and burn out, trust me took me few tries before the diode started lasting now almost year and diode has ZERO signs of burning)
also you can hit the highbeam up and down as fast as you want and you dont get any flickers or anything its instant
as well as 0 dimming even if you start the car with lights on beucase the ground is comming straight from the batt. so it makes shure the ballasts life span doesnt get cut short... well unless u have an auxillar light instead of a solenoid then little dimming but its very minimal...
you can even jsut like strip the wire at the tips and tap into the original factory harness terminals so you dont have to crimp/taps etc.... (only for signal)
also the FUSE was jsut a saftey thing.. the HID are an investment i dont want to make again soon...
