Hi all

Im leaving the country for a while, and will need to leave my car (97 5spd SE) immobile for 6 months or so. It will be in a garage, but not climate controlled...i.e. it will be cold now, and hot later on.

My current plans are, based on previous posts here:

- wash it
- fill up and put Sta-Bil in the gas
- jack it up on stands
- disconnect the battery

Unfortunately, I do not have anyone available who can drive it occassionally.

Some questions I got about this:

- is it better to fill the tank, or leave it at 1/4 or so?
- i never really put up the car on stands before, where are good points to put stands under? (I have 4 stands)
- handbrake on or off?
- in gear or neutral?

Any other advice/suggestions welcome.
