Center Console Bulbs

I have a couple of bulbs out on my center console (95SE) around the AC controls. Can anyone point me to a thread or resource on what bulbs I need to replace?

Thanks,
M

Do you mean the bulbs inside the AC control unit? manual or auto climate controls?

Only the dealer sells them. I think they're like $4-5 each. (need 3 or 4)

If it is the digital climate control bulbs then you need 4 bulbs and only stealership sells them at about $5 a piece. They are little bulbs with blue rubber casing on them and the brown base.

If you are taking it apart look around there are detailed threads with pics on this very subject, entire dash conversions to blue leds etc.
You can buy alot of leds and resitors way cheaper than going to the dealer at $5 bucks a piece.

Just like Tim96I30t said, Check the stickies for the LED mods. Another option is to get the whole climate control from your local Salvage yard.

Don't replace the whole thing, that's nuts. If you can get the climate parts out of the dash, then you can change the bulbs in 3 minutes. There are about 5 of them in total, just buy a full set for $20 and replace them all at once. The trickiest part is figuring how to detach each connector without damaging them, and if you have a helper to hold the control so you can see the connector well, you'll have an easier time than I did.

Yes you need to buy the whole assembly you are better of buying it from the local junk yard because I had a hazzard switch light burned out so I went to stealership to buy it and they told me I need the whole switch to buy and it costs $200 so I took one from the junk yard for $5 and it works.
