Ok it probably is, but its for security reasons. Is there any way a thief can open my hood with my grill off? I removed my grill to paint it tomorrow because I was bored, just want to make sure before I lock it up for the night.

Yes, but it's not like your grill is part of the security system; if I wanted to pop your hood, I could easily remove/break the grill...

Good point, but I guess it adds to the temptation, I;ll park my car really close to the garage the next night or two

Thanks...

Thats actually really cool to know, i know years ago people would take your battery and leave you stranded. Then again they did it with gas too, and thats why i love have a remote open gas door.

Had the alarm go off on my 91' Max ... was working on it, locked it for the night, got up in the morning to finish the work and scared the pee outta me! Then ... I couldn't figure out how to turn it off ... no fob or anything, so I started the car and it stopped.
