Engine right bank, engine left bank???

Engine right bank, engine left bank???
Is the right bank towards the front of the car or the back of the car? From reading my FSM, the right bank refers to the set of cylinder at the front of the car.

The left cylinder bank is also called the front bank. It is cylinders 2,4,6. The left bank is nearest to the radiator.
The right cylinder bank is also called the rear bank. It is cylinders 1,3,5. The right bank is nearest to the firewall.
