96 Fog Install

I had a question guys... I just bought fogs for my 96 gxe.... I haven't installed them yet, but I just bought the stalk with the fog switch on it couple days ago.

I took out my old one and installed the new one. I had a question though. I believe my stalk is from a 96 i30. My old stalk was held in with 2 clips. I took out the 2 clips and inserted the new one. I noticed my new 1 had an extra clip. I circled it in red. Is this something I need to install? I have no idea if my fogs will work or not because I haven't installed them. Any help??

That extra plug is for the foglight switch on your new stalk. If you look just under your stearing weel you should see the male end of that plug. Simply plug it in and it all should work!!

Good Luck!

Next time, try searching, or looking in the FSM. They can be found on here for free
