Ok i can't get the idler pully bolt to budge and it's starting to strip the head. and the top tensioner bolt i loosened in hopes of freeing the bottom one and that just made the problem worse. Help me please.

help with what? You need to loosen the bolt on the idler pulley before you can loosen the tension nut up top...

Cut the old belt off, walk the new belt on by turning the crank with a breaker bar.
I've replaced all my belts that way, never touched a bolt!

spray it with pb blaster or liquid wrench, get a good, quality wrench, and try again. A crappy, chinese, soft metal wrench will ruin many many bolts and nuts...

WAIT... haha this same thing JUST happened to me on monday. there are three bolts that hold the idler pulley on. they're in between the pulley and the engine (two on the bottom one on the top). it takes a while to take them off with an open faced but its worth it because you can reuse the belt & idler pulley. once it's off you can use vice grips to take off the silly putty nut and replace it with a grade 8 from the hardware store.
