Wheel hub help.

I am swapping a spindle off of another maxima. I got it off the ball joints and strut and brake. The only thing left holding it is the ABS return line? It is a brake hose that attatches to it. How do I remove it? There was a bolt on top I took it off and nothing.

They break apart when you try to remove them, you will be buying a new one.

It's rare that an ABS sensor will come out.
Most likely you'll have to completely distroy it and replace it with a new one.
Does the new spindle have a sensor in it? Did it come with the wire/plug?
If so, just unplug your sensor, remove hub, sensor and wire - install used hub sensor and plug it in.

Thanks for the replies. I got the sensor off without messing it up too much it looks like its slightly cracked in one area where the electric connection is. Does the electrical part of it have to be functional? I know on my Gxe that I am putting it on it does not have ABS so do i even need to connect back the ABS return line? Can I just connect even if its cracked so fluid won't come out, if that even does happen with a gxe.

Thanks

ABS only has electrical going to the hub. The only fluid is from your brake line and caliper.
