Okay.... up and out of the middle of nowhere my keyless entry just stopped working... replaced the battery (my initial thoughts)... still doesn't work... then did a search here on the .org re; programming the remote.... thinking that it may have lost its 'code'... no dice there either.... I don't know if my remote is just UP and DEAD or what! does anyone know if there is a fuse or some sort of test that I can look at in/do on the car to find out if it's truly the remote?

ps, i only have one remote for the car, so i can't test to see if just the one is dead

you can purchase a new remote on eBay for pretty cheap. I bought one as a spare.

Which is exactly what I did yesterday!! you can't beat $25 plus $5 shipping for a new one.... (thanks for the suggestion Asian_N02)

BUT, is there anyway to solidify my thinking that it IS the remote and not the CAR? I just don't know too much about how the keyless entry system works in our cars.... haven't messed around with that at all (yet)....
