Which to replace first?

Took the crap box to the dealer (I stll swear the car was built on a Friday afternoon by a woman that had PMS)!!!

I paid for an hour of diagnostic work, they came back with the MAF sensor (The receptor on the MAF is bad)

They also said the DS O2 sensor is bad.

I found a MAF on here and havent figured out where I am getting the O2 yet.

What I am asking in my long drawn out way is would it be ok to replace the MAF when it comes in in the next few days and then the O2 in a week or less?

Or would it be better to wait and replace it all at once?
Thanks
S

I have not tried to clean the MAF. I just got one from a trusted seller here.
I havent changed the ds o2 on this car, but I have on others.

I was just wondering if replacing one before the other would mess up (Meaning should I wait to replace both at the same time)??
Thanks

You can replace them independently. After all, they fail independently.

In fact, it might be a good thing to do since that will let you learn what improvement each one makes.

oxygen sensors.com for your o2 needs.
cheap shipping and such.
I believe you can get the generic ones and the ones with the factory harness.
That's were I got mine when it was time.

good luck.

DS o2? Are they referring to Down Stream? If so, that o2 doesn't effect the car's performance in any way, it only monitors the catalyst efficiency.

Change the MAF, it'll run better. The o2 isn't going to make any difference.

Ding ding ding!

Only the front 2 o2's need to be changed when they go bad. Rear one doesn't effect performance.

Yes, they Nissan dealer said they said that the rear heated 02 sensor was bad and the MAF was bad.

When I bought the car it had the CEL for the MAF (I got one from someone on here)

I have replaced these items within the last year trying to get it to run:
MAF
Fuel pump
Fuel filter
Spark plugs
Both US O2 sensors (Yes, oxygen sensor.com is the bomb!!!) I ordered the generics (ones you would have to cut/splice. The next day after order they called me and said that for a few dollars more I could get a generic that didnt require cut/splice. My order came in and the box had the exact logo/color of NGK except the letters were NTK

I have ran several cans of seafoam through vacum hose, gas tank and oil.

I have had regular oil changes

I have another MAF from Fallen on the way now.

The car only ran decent for a short time after replacing the first MAF??

Thank you for everyones responses.

When I get the MAF changed, I am going to see if I have any vac leaks.

Need to get this mess fixed as inspections are due in June or July,
