aftermarket coil problems

so i notice some hesitation on my 98 se sometimes on acceleration usually right after i start it when i hit 3k but it doesnt happen all the time. so i changed the plugs and noticed #3 plug had some powdery white substance on it just the part that sticks out the combustion chamber. i grabbed a couple new coils from work and changed the one out started it and 2mins later yellow light and p 1320 ignition failure so i went to the next coil after clearing code same thing except this time the tach jumped to 4500 key on engine off and stayed there after i removed key i dont have plastic over the gauges so i zeroed the needle out by hand went back to the original coil and it works fine again no light there was no light in the begining either i just thought that one coil may have leaked or melted a bit but i guess not. any members have any thoughts??

What kind of coils did you use? For ignition coils it's OEM or BUST

Also what kind of plugs did you use? NGK or BUST on plugs
