95 Auto transmission not changing gears after solenoid replacement

EDIT:

FIXED

So I was able to fix this issue of 1103, P0731 . Turned out to be the A33 TPS. On the inside of the A33 TPS the little spring clip was knocked out of place. I since put it back in place. The TPS alone was causing the 1103, P0731 .

Issue fixed.

I changed the automatic transmission solenoids and my car is not changing out of 1st gear:

It is as if the transmission is not even trying to change gears. As if the transmission computer thinks my car I have the car is 1st rather than in "D".

I am getting a CEL but I have not checked it yet. However from my understanding the CEL will not report issues on the automatic transmission side, or so I think.

I checked the transmission fluid level and the level is normal.

Any ideas anyone?

Thanks

You can get a CEL for auto trans problems, they are in the P07xx group. But the auto trans self diagnostic will give you more problem codes than the CEL codes do.

I have read various threads from guys that have replaced the solenoids and it seems there are 2 things you can mess up during re-assembly. One is a spring and the other is some small part not seated properly. But that's all I can tell you, I never memorized it.

Where the 4 lip seals and spring seated in the AT before you reinstalled the VB?

Was the manual valve shaft lined up correctly?

So the CEL is giving me 1103, P0731 .

Can someone please confirm using the video I linked above if my car is actually stuck in 1st gear or 2nd gear:

The code the CEL is throwing 1103, P0731 sounds as if the car should not ever be in first gear to begin with.

PS: When I changed all five solenoids I made sure the manual valve was installed correct:

I also have since also physically checked all five solenoids with a multimeter and all five solenoids are working correct.

I have also checked the inhibitor switch and show that it is working correct.

08 fully loaded ax with cvt trans

2008 Nissan Maxima 3.5 se I put a used transmission in the car, the check engine light was on, and popped a code for torque converter solenoid. I had my mechanic replace the solenoid on the transmission, and now it will not do ANYTHING! It was at least working before replacement. WHAT DO I DO? I am a single mom and I have dumped my entire savings into fixing my car.
