so, go to turn on my hid's tonight and pop!!!! no headlights. check the fuse and it looks black in the middle, so i guess i'm replacing that 20 amp fuse that goes to the battery.
had a really bright flashlight and a a little nite core lantern that is magnetized underneath with a flashing function that i mounted on top of the max. luckily, i got home, of course i
pulled right in front of a state trooper that just let me keep rolling. what a pain in the a$$!! but got her home in one piece!!

I had to replace a cheapo HID ballast that would blow my fuse every time I plugged it in. Opened the case and the thing looked like a battery acid meltdown, I replaced with morimoto ballasts

Sound like good reasons to stay with the headlamp system that came with our cars.

It would only blow the fuse under the hood for left/right whichever it was plugged into. I'm very happy with my HIDs, the ballasts I had came with the car and they were cheap Chinese I'm very happy with my morimoto setup
