Cyl 6 Misfire HELP

Cyl 6 Misfire HELP
So I have a cyl 6 misfire on my 96 maxima. I have confirmed already that the injector is not receiving pulse signal. Car has new coils and plugs, swapped injectors around made no difference. Checked for internal issue with cyl 6 injector, no problem found, injector fires fine when swapped to cyl 5. Checked wiring for short to ground, all ok. Checked all vehicle ground cables, cleaned and reinstalled. As far as I can tell the ecu is not grounding this cyl 6 injector, could anything besides the ecu being bad or a short to ground cause this? I haven't compression tested but obv not getting fuel to this cyl so dont believe that's my issue. I believe the ecu has the capability of shutting down specific cyl but don't know for sure, anybody have an answer on this? I'm leaning towards ecu just not sure if there's a sensor or something that could cause the ecu to not ground this injector. Any help is appreciated, thanks.

You may check MAF sensor. Someone mentioned that it was a problem for misfire. It is a good idea to clean MAF first and the throttle valve also.

Are you sure you're talking about Injectors and not coil packs?
Are you sure you understand which cylinder is which? Swapping Fuel Injector 6 with 5 would be a monumental job with some new gaskets required at the least.
