is popcharger cleanable??

I just want to make sure. what do u guys use to clean it and how often??

Yes.

It's called a recharge kit. Get it at your local autoparts store. Has directions, follow them and you'll be fine.

The recharge kit is made for K&N, but it can be used on the Popcharger since its the same thing anyway. It consists of a cleaning solution thingie, and the oil you have to apply to the filter after you clean it.

sorry for asking such a newbie question.... but a popcharger is JUST the cone intake?? or is it something else...

Popcharger is the name for the JWT intake, which is similar to a K&N cone, and pretty much the same as the Stillen intake. I guess the name can be used interchangeably, but I've never heard of a panel filter being referred to as a popcharger.

But to answer your question, yes, popcharger is just the cone filter, and does not refer to any upper intake piping like a hybrid intake has..

Are all cone filters made of the same material as the K&N? Some of these generic/universal filters may not withstand a goog cleaning like the K&N.

Yeah thats true.. The velocity stack gives us pop charger users like an extra .5 horsepower!!
