guy, by law, all 2k2, 2k3 maxima owners will be mailed a letter, even little grandma who drives her maxima 10 miles a week, even people not on the org, this isnt' the first time i posted a reply to this question.....i know it's a long thread, but it's getting redundant....trust me, if the dyno turns out in "our" favor, everyone will be contacted

 

what do you think is the most likely form of restitution if they are found at fault?

 

I must say this lawsuit is bad idea. I have a 2k2 se and i don't care what the hp figure is. I drove the car and I liked it. I buy nissan because I trust they will be reliable and I assume you do the same. If you trust your maxima will keep you safe on the highway then why can't you trust nissan research over a cheap dyno. Besides if we put all this time and effort twards modding the car it would probably end up a lot faster. Point is if the 15hp slowed the car down that much you would have bought something else.

 

I must say that this thread is 7 months old. I think everyone forgot about it.

I agree with you though. This whole effort was/is F***ing retarded.

All of you hopefully bought the car because you drove it and liked it. If you bought this car only because of the # 255 that is your problem.

Bottom line is that the Max is a damn fast sedan for under 30k. Just because someone thinks it may have 15 less hp doesnt make it any slower.

Enjoy your cars and spend your time more constructively.

so i guess we cant sue nissan, i guess ill just go buy a intake, and y pipe, to see if i can get that extra 15 horses, i hate the fact that our cars are just as fast as a altima, when we paied so much more...
