B-Pillar Squeak and Creak = ANNOYING.
B-Pillar Squeak and Creak = ANNOYING.
My passenger side b-pillar trim is squeaking/creaking over every crack in the road when it's really cold. It becomes semi-tolerable when the interior warms up, but it's quite bad when cold and I'm in MN so all winter long it's COLD. Anyway, does anybody have a good fix for this? I'm assuming this piece of trim, below where the seatbelt strap comes out and runs all the way down to the floor, just pops out, right? I was in for an oil change and the stealer said they'd yank it off and put in some foam rubber for 1/2 hour labor = $45. I was like, no thanks I'll try something myself. Anybody have any good remedies?? I'm thinking pull it off and dynamat or felt it or something? Just wondering if anybody's done this or had this problem. I can push on the piece of trim down low on the floor and it creaks all the way up to the seatbelt.
Thanks
