oh btw, ENGINES and TRANSMISSIONS are designed for fuel economy, dohc hondas dont use the same engine and transmissions as the sohc ones. so there goes your argument that all Civics are DESIGNED for ECONOMY. either that or civics have the most fuel efficient chassis on the market.

ok, again u brought u two more exotic cars. I do believe that I got something in the mail last week about the brand new civic SI. and it has 170hp or something. My car is barely modded and i've raced DOHC and the Vtec craps. and once again u bring up cars nobody really has. integra type r? i never seen one that was a real one. AND YES ALL CIVICS ARE ECONOMY CARS. they are classified under that group. PRove me wrong and show in me "car and driver" or "motor trend" where the civic is in the "sports car" catagory. Just because honda makes a small amount of slightly faster cars doesn't change that fact that only .01% of them are driven. how many of those cars you mentioned have 255hp? i do believe then RSX has near 200, wow thats blazing. how much torque, around 150ftlb? and stop mentioning exotic cars priced over 35,000. DOHC..bulls!t you think this dual cam crap is so great. Toyoda avalon have a quad cam. they are still slower then the twin cam maxima. please. honda cars suck and they always will. and there will always be some econ car lover praising them by saying, oh well nsx..blah blah DOHC..blah blah, VTECH, blah blah..you can put a porshe engine, blah blah, turbo and nas blah blah, they suck and if u want to buy one then u are the ignorant one for not getting the most for you money. they are ugly and slow and like I said b4, most of the efforts were put into ECONOMY, that means, crappy design team, and crappy performance team, I am not interested in an ugly car that will last me ten years, i'd shoot myself if i had to drive a civic that long. y the hell are you defending these clown cars?

because i know about them unlike you. its easy for u to say they suck cuz u dont know a damn thing about em. go ahead and keep hating without at least attempting to learn what some of them are capable of. and yet again i never said that ALL civics would give a maxima a run, i said the DOHC ones, and if u knew what that meant for a honda, u would realize that ALL DOHC hondas also have VTEC and redlines above 8000, with very close ratio transmissions.

oh and how many of the cars in mentioned use a 6 cylinder engine, none, they are small 4 cylinder engines that are capable of competing with larger V6 engines that have a lot more of the 'godly' torque. an integra type r may only have 130ftlbs of torque but thats at almost 7000rpm, so a maxima makes about 200ftlbs at 4000, considering its not very flat in comparison, u shift at 6500 down to 4500 and use more like 190tq until it drops to almost 150-160 at 6500, while the itr gets to use about 120 from 5500 till 130 at around 7000 to about 125 at 8400.

ok when a civic that doesn't have FI or NOS beats me I"ll come here and say you were right. Either way the car is *** ugly and cheap looking.
