Nitrous on an 02 Max...

Hey I'm new here. Looking at maybe putting nitrous on my Dad's 02 Max. But I was wondering what kind of power gains some of you might have got from it. Also the realiablity factor. It's a automatic, which worries me somewhat. Don't know if it can handle a decent amount of power of stock. Anyways current mods getting ready to go on the car and a Weapon R Intake, Race Pipe, and a Greddy Evo catback. Any help and words of wisdom would be great.

Search is down. And to answer the original question, nitrous will not work on 01' and above.

It will work with just about any kit with the right extras.

Oh well I didnt know search was down AGAIN. A wet kit would be more simple to install and tune. A dry kit would work but harder to accomplish since the 3.5 does not have a fuel return line, too much plumbing work is involved.

Lol. Yes my Dad knows about this, hell it was his idea. I was looking at an NX wet setup. I have that same kit on my Eclipse and it seems to work well with it. So a 02+ has a returnless fuel system, great. Hmm, well the main reason why we are even looking at using nitrous is because no one make s S/C or turbo for it yet. So no one is really haing any problems with teh NX kit on the 02's? From what I've search it seems like a decent amount of people are using it and like it. Thanks again.

I dont think a turbo is very far off for the 2k2-2k3
