00 TSB for brakes.. what about 02?
I looked at the TSB for the brake rotors... it only says for 00s.... some places say it applies to 01s as well....
I have also done searches and haven't found a TSB that says specifically 02-03s...
Can anyone tell me if it "really" applies to 02s as well?
is the dealer going to make me pay?
my car has pulsing and I want to get it fixed.

Just took my '02 in for high speed brake judder @ 11K miles. I had the '00 Brake Judder TSB in hand. Service manager looked at it like he never saw a TSB before and then said this is for '00 & '01. I said "Well I have the same problem and I'm sure Nissan's using the same crappy rotors". He caved and just turned the rotors for free. When I picked it up the repair order had "turned rotors under warranty", so now I have that if needed when they have to turn 'em again in 10K miles!
Good luck and talk about it before they do the work.

I just brought my car to Nissan this morning in reference to the breaks making a deep grumbling noise when applying them from any speed over 50mph. they called back and said the rotors were warped and well they put new ones on and well no charge at all. I give the Nissan dealer where I got the car and have it serviced A+ for this one since I have read that people have had to fight tooth and nail to get the dealers to cover any work on the rotors!!!

WTF?! Can some of you guys please fax me copies of your repair orders?? I've been fighting Nissan on this for quite some time, and if I had some solid proof that this is being done UNDER WARRANTY on 02-03 Maximas then I might have some leeway to use. I had to pay $105 just to get the damn things resurfaced, and now they're just as bad as they were before they were resurfaced. I could really use that money to put toward new A/M rotors/pads. PM me if you are willing to fax me your receipts. THANKS!
