Looking on ebay I came across HID's for the 2k-2k1 maxima and I notice that the price are real low but the lights are illegal. My question is how bad are the cops with these aftermarket hid in the NYC area???? Do you guys think I should play it safe and get the hi/low legal ones???? What do you think??????

Cops will not be the problem.They really don't care.It's getting them jacked which is the problem.They steal them like crazy in N.Y.Save your money.

I have 12,000K and never had a problem

One of my buddies had 9000K and he has never had a problem either

cops dont really care, and the jacking i think its only with factory hids not aftermarket.

The reason they're so cheap is because they were probably stolen off of someone else's maxima.
