Fog light film covering?

I seem to remember that someone posted a while ago about a protective film covering that could be put over the 2K2 fog light to help prevent it from being cracked by rocks and such...

does anyone have the info for this product?

Should be the same one they use for headlights. Xpel is one. Stonegard is the other, I believe. Invisgard?

I used Lamin-x....I got yellow, but they have clear as well....it's pretty thick and would probably protect the fogs for your poor glass fog lights....

hooray, the one thing on the 2k that's better than the 2k2-3! Plastic fog lenses that don't break!

The guy who pre-cuts and sells them goes by:

2002 Maxima SE

and prices (from months ago) are:
Left Foglight Cover = $10.00
Right Foglight Cover = $10.00
Shipping/Handling = $4.00
Total = $24.00

once you start reading all the posts about how 2k2 and 2k3 fog lights crack & chip, you'll wanna do any preventative things that you can to keep from having to buy new fog light housings...

Basically, these films add a protective coating to the fog lights that help absorb the impact from any debris that may fly up and hit the fog lights while you're driving...

Added 3M Clear bra material from invinca-shield.com to my fogs about a year back when I first purchased. No issues here.
