need help finding that piece that is missing from my hid kit.... anyone know where i can get it?

where did u get the HID kit?? When I took apart my Headlights I found that black box inside the headlight, the actual plug for the bulb is also inside the headlight. Hope that helps.

not all hids are stolen. i got my hids off ebay.

Ok look, i am not here to start anything, but let see... you have a 2000 with 2k2 housing and HIDS....and they were bought off of EBAY.

Well maybe i am just a little bitter since my HID's were hit 3x's. Unless they are legit aftermarket units or OE on a 2K2 or later.....they are stolen. I am not saying you are the one who stole them, but they are considered stolen property.

With the headaches many of us in the NE are experiencing with owning a 2k2 through 2k4... for those who go and purchase HID's off of EBAY, its just wrong. And if you actually believe you are buying a brand spankin new set of Factory delivered HID's...well there is something wrong with you.

Since 2001, when the 02 Maxima was released and HID theft hit big this topic has come up many times here on the ORG and from experience those owners who had to deal with light theft were not to happy to hear that a fellow Maxima owner goes on EBAY and purchases a set of 2002 Maxima; I for one!!!

Oh yea, rather than paying money to some shmuck on ebay why don't those who buy from ebay fork over the money to us for our insurance deductibles.

You know mine were stolen too, i'm not going to lecture him about it. Don't jump to conclusions, how do you know what his story is?

Don't be bitter at everyone for your misfortune, it sucks, yet it's not for you to tell him that.

If you believe buying or using stolen things are wrong, gee i wonder how many people here are using pirated software on their computers? I don't condone it, yet it's not my buisness.

Yes i totally agree with you... its not my place to tell him what to do, but knowing the issues we are all having.. to have a member of this site buy them, supporting the one who stole them then sold them is what i am saying is wrong. It almost like they are throwing it in our faces. Seeing somebody's HIDs on someone elses car.

There is nothing we can do aboutthe thieft, its going ot happen, unless you have 2 armored gaurds surrounding your car at all times.

As for the software pirating, you got that right...these companies have more money than you, me, or all of us put together will ever have. They make enough money off companies like Compaq and Dell and those who buy it all in Best Buy.

Hey i love this site and the members that are here. I have gained alot from here and so have many others. Its just that people have ***** to post a ? about HID's that were purchased off EBAY or OE products in earlier models.
