Lowest mileage on a 2001 Maxima SE?

After 3 years of ownership, I only have 6,126 miles on my Maxima! I know it sounds unreal, but it's the truth! I do have another car though, that may be why. My job is only 2 miles both ways. It is garage kept and never hit by so much as 1 drop of rain. Does anyone else have rediculously low mileage? At this rate I think my low mileage is the only thing helping my resale value seeing as that resale value sucks on 5th gens.

Strangely enough, right after I broke 5,000 miles this past February, the car loosened up nicely. The oil has been changed regularly and all major fluids have been dumped twice.

I've got only 12K on my '02 and TRUST ME - i enjoy my car.
The train station is only a couple miles from my house, and I drive a 4x4 in the winter time. Thus explaining my low mileage.

Every minute i spend in my Max rowing throught the gears is pure bliss.

One year and seven months on my '01 SE = 73,220 miles

Bought it with 17,035 on the odo, so at 90,255, it's been well enjoyed.

Untill recently, I owned a Twin Turbo Supra, in the last 3-1/2 years I owned it, I only put 4000 miles on it. I realized with that car, you can only really enjoy a car if you drive the wheels off of it

Hell yea! It was fun! 2 weeks is not enough. Not only that, but it's not as crazy this time of year. I'm used to being there july-august.
Still had a great time though.

I'm pretty sure I own most mileage in least amount of time record right now.
Owned my 03 Maxima from 6/03-present. 16 months almost to the date.
67,937 miles.

The low mileage also means you have no feel for your car. Don't go too crazy out there...even though it's "loosened up" lately. Although this might sound sarcastic, I'm being serious...

Man I wish I had this low mileage on my 01 GXE 5spd, I been driving less lately than usually but in the 1st year I owned it I put over 40K miles on it. Right now I'm pretty close to 100K miles and the car is 3.5 years old. This I now started to put alot of miles back on her again- on average 1K miles a week if not a little bit more. Runs like a champ, just needs a new VIAS, no JB Weld is fixing mine. I am getting it warrantied at Nissan

I have a '01 and it only has 25K miles. I have a commuter car which I commute to work...45 miles one way. Rather put miles on that than the Max. The Max goes out on the weekends.

Make sure to put a tittle dab of JB Weld on the vias actuator shaft and cup so that it wont fail in the future. Because with the amount you drive, the new VIAS will be dead in a year since I doubt they have improved the design.
