I know that my 02 SE uses the 9005 for the hi-beam. I think the 01s use the 9004 for lo-beams-not sure though!

Go to the FAQs up top and hit the lighting section for clues on your light bulb numbers and crossreferance.

OK, so the part number for the R/L headlamp is 26294-89910, so what does that mean in relation to 'H' labeling?

Ya, I just got back from AutoZone after getting new sidemarker bulbs. Got the Sylvania 194 LL's. I also noticed they had the Silverstars and CoolBlues in stock for my 2001 headlamps, but wanted to see if I could find these MTech's before I bought those. Now, say I want to look into getting these MTech's, would I have to find one labeled 9003? I guess I am just not understanding if the H labeling system is different or one in the same as the 9000 labeling.

Trust me on this one-I've been surfing and checking for 6 days now (talk about obsessed/**** ) just for a hi-beam replacement that has NO yellow in it for a reasonable price. This guy seems to have the right bulb. These MTEC bulbs seem to be the right wattage and color: 4750K. I just ordered them and we'll see. DO NOT waste your $ on Silverstars cuz they are yellow compared to my 02's HID lo-beam.

Just figgered out yer ? 9003, etc. is the type of base/bulb you have just as the H label: H3, H4, H7 etc. We gotta find out if the 9003 has a cross reference to an "H" label.

OK, so in other words, we can't just say 9003 = H3.

I've done some routine surfing and it appears that the H4 is the same as the 9003. CHECK REAL CAREFULLY BEFORE SPENDING ANY $. I am NOT an authority on the subject. Go to your local store and do some "comparison" shopping for compatibility!!!

Okay, I guess I will email this MTech guy and see whether or not he has a compatible replacement for my '01. I think that considering the price and the specs on that bulb, that if they do fit, I will most likely purchase them (both lo and hi beam) and may consider doing the fogs as well. Any idea how these would compare to the PIAAs?

Edit: After searching on that eautoworks site, they list the H4 as the correct replacement for 00-01 as well.

From what I can see, and I just ordered them, they kill PIAAs. Their 4750K color is what is most interesting. Once you get into the 4500K and up range it starts to simulate sunlight-bright but without that pukey yellow tint. I wanna have my whole car to look like i've got HIDs in all the exterior light sockets except for the amber and red safety/required places.

You will have to let me know how they look when you put them on your car so I can decide whether or not I want to spend the fifty bucks on them or go with a set of Raybrig/Polarg/Piaa/Heliolite, etc. I really have zero expertise in this field so I have no idea which would be the right way to go for a great looking super white light bulb.

Uggh, too bad I gave you the wrong PayPal address!

Anyhow what's up Jason, i just responded to your e-mail. Sorry for the mixup!

And for the rest of you, what's up guys. I'm one of the capital importers for Radial415. I was referred here by one of your members. If you have any questions, just go ahead and shoot and I'll do the best I can to answer accordingly.

Yes, 9003=H4. I also carry the T10/194/168 peanut bulb, which fits the rear license plate lights, and both front and rear side markers.

For a limited time, we are including a PAIR of T10/194/168 with every 9003/H4 order. I can sell these for $5 each set seperately.

I do not know if you guys have read the tremendous amount of feedback we've had on 600RR.net, but they have been doing really well and nobody has had any problems! Just about everybody on there has been using them on motorcycles, so you know that the durability from vibrations etc is good. Anyways again, let me know if you have any questions. THANKS!

Thanks for understanding, Jason. Anyhow there is a new pricing structure to accommodate customers who do not wish to purchase T10 bulbs. Cosmos blue/white bulbs are now $37, and T10 bulb sets are $3. T10 bulb sets are $10 when purchased separately. THANKS!

So, are these the bulbs I need for my 02/03 HID headlight highbeams? If so, then sign me up, I want a pair!! My highbeams are so yellow it's pathetic, compared to my lowbeams. $37 a pair, plus shipping, is that the final price, LMK. Thanks

DongTran,
Do you have MTec H3 bulbs in true wattages over 100W? Or can you recommend one w/similar color output as these that are a true 100W (or higher, less than 115W though) bulb? Been searching forever and still haven't found anything yet besides the crap on Ebay.

Awesome! If you don't need T10 running lights, it will be $37 + $5 shipping. I'll PM you now!

Hello! I do not have MTEC bulbs that run over 100 watts!

We do not recommend installing bulbs that are higher wattage than stock wattage because it may melt your housing or adversly affect it in other ways. There are not a lot of vendors who carry that because of the possible liability issues @ hand. Let me know if you are interested in MTEC 55w bulbs however! Thanks!

^^^pwn! Actually there are whiter lights weighing in about $75+ for a PAIR. I agree, MTECs are not the whitest light you will find, but for the quality, price, and customer service that R415 can offer, you really cannot compare.

Also, there is no warranty on PIAA bulbs. MTECs are warranted for 6 months. To my knowledge, FET/CATZ no longer sells through legal channels in the US for some reason, so they are out of the question.

Anyway if you guys have any more questions/concerns, feel free to e-mail me @ dong@radial415.com

THANKS!

I need 100W+ bulbs to put in my PIAA fog lamp housings. The 115W bulbs in them already are too yellowish. I have it wired using PIAA harnesses so it's not stock.

Anyone have any recommendations for 100W+ H3s which are pure white?

I've had my PIAA star white's now for almost a year now and I love them. I paid $80.00 and they do a great job lighting up the road. You get a real classy distict look without any blue, purple, or yellow.

I highly recommend them.
