Time ranges from 4-11 hours for an install. Shops charge 240-350.00. Not bad considering.

I have no link for you, but you can do it yourself with some jackstands, basic tools and A LOT of patience. Oh ya, you WILL bust your hands up, too. Good Luck!

yea. Try doing a SC reinstall, headers, fuel injectors, emanage, VIAS repair, and tunning all at once. Not a fun time at all

Take off the heat shields and upper IM. It should not be too hard after that

i just had mine done by a kid i know who's a certified mechanic. took him 11 hours to do the headers and y-pipe. had to remove the ac compressor, subframe connectors, and motor mounts to get the job done. oh, and if you have a cali spec car like i do, it's twice the fun - good luck!!

AC compressor eh ? Wow some mechanics love telling people fairly tales. I guess I have to make a short video with time stamps on how quick and EZ it is to do headers on our cars.

BTW all 01 up cars are cali spec. Give me a 01 Maxima and I will have header on it in bout 2 hours tops.

that is what i say. i replaced oem headers and it wasnt easy but not compelty difficult. 11 hours is too much and remove the ac unit? tell me he didnt let the refrigirant out.

he just unbolted the compressor to give him enough space to work. i was standing there for the ENTIRE install and trust me, he didn't do any more work than he needed too.
